RAO Liping Attended the (Extended) Conference of the Municipal Leading Group for Poverty Alleviation Development and MadeaSpeech

　　After attending the (Extended) Conference of the Provincial Leading Group for Poverty Alleviation Development online, Yichun immediately held a video conference on August 28 to implement the spirit of the Provincial Conference and make arrangements for the municipal work at the current stage and next stage. RAO Liping, deputy secretary of CPC Municipal Committee, attended the conference chaired by Deputy Mayor QI Haiyun and madeaspeech.

　　As pointed out by RAO in her speech, phased results in the municipal poverty alleviation have been achieved since the beginning of the year, but there are gaps and omissions as can be seen from recent supervision. In response to the upcoming state audit of poverty alleviation, verification, acceptance inspection and spot check of relocation of impoverished residents, and provincial specialized poverty alleviation result investigation, all departments shall enhance their political stand, fulfill their political responsibility, detail the measures, make up the weaknesses, and win the final battle against povertywithdetermination.

　　RAO emphasized that in face of the COVID-19 epidemic before the victory of the final battle, all departments shall strengthen the measures, monitor the priorities, better implement the policies, accelerate the advancement of spending poverty alleviation, and strive the eliminate the adverse impact of the epidemic on poverty alleviationendeavor.

　　RAO further required that all departments shall focus on the final battle and overcome the difficulties in face of the challenges. We should keep a close watch on the remaining 72 million poverty-stricken population, and ensure poverty elimination as scheduled against the poverty elimination standard and revenue target; actively guide the connection, and coordinate with the specialized provincial investigation on poverty elimination results; maintain policy stability and strengthen post-poverty alleviation measures according to Continuous Responsibility, Support, Policy and Regulation, and Increased Effort, Capital Investment, Policy Support and Support Level requirements, ensure the quality, adequate and sustainable poverty alleviation; focus on the rectification of capital performance assessment and project capital management problems, improve the system and ensure standardized capital utilization; publicize, summarize and comprehensively showcase the poverty alleviation results; strengthen the accountability system and ensure the quality and comprehensive completion of povertyalleviationtasks.
