　　AsYichun’s Big Discussion themed with Environmental Beautification and DevelopmentPromotionwas advanced orderly and vigorously, the CPPCC Municipal Committee held the 2020 Democratic Appraisal TV Face-to-Face Political Consultation and Discussion in Kejizhichuang on the morning of August 28 based on its nature and positioning of a specialized consultation organ to service the general situation and support development. In consideration of common point between democratic appraisal supervision and Big Discussion activities, this event implemented the deployment requirement of the CPC Central Committee, Provincial Committee and Municipal Committee on strengthening and improving the CPPCC democratic supervision, and enhanced the effectiveness of democratic supervision.It’s one of the serial events of Problem-resolving via Discussion with the CPPCC Yichun Municipal Committee.

　　CHEN Rong, president of the CPPCC Municipal Committee, attended the event and made a summary comment; Deputy Mayor QI Haiyun was also invited to the event and made a comment on the spot. 　　The video of problem rectification of the appraised units at the 2019 Democratic Appraisal TV Face-to-Face Political Consultation and Discussion was played to review the rectification of problems identified last year. In the Q&A segment, the members of the CPPCC Municipal Committee and representatives of the masses put forward questions like how to strengthen agricultural and rural talent training, advance the construction of beautiful countryside, strengthen road greening and road shoulder construction, improve village-level financial management, promote the development of selenium enrichmentindustry and guarantee road emergency disaster relief to the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Municipal Highway Administration. Undercover investigation videos about dirty, disorderly and bad rural living environment, incomplete and non-reflective road markings, illegal sale of pesticides, inadequate regulation of sources of agricultural products, unattendedover-limit/overloadinspectionstations and wagon balances in the factories not used were played. The principals from the appraised units answered the questions one by one, and gave a specific time limit for rectification. The democratic appraisal was animated and intense. After the Q&A segment, the the members of the CPPCC Municipal Committee and representatives of the masses conducted a satisfaction assessment on the above two appraisedunits.

　　According to CHEN Rong in his comment, the special TV show of democratic appraisal and political consultation was a forceful measure implementing the CPC Municipal Committee Big Discussion themed with Environmental Beautification and Development Promotion. The democratic appraisal supervision on the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Municipal Highway Administration was face-to-face political consultation based on the pain spots, problems and key points involving the practical benefits of the masses and affecting the beautiful life of the masses, in order to effectively promote the rectification and implementation of problems. This year is a crucial year of the decisive battle against poverty and securing a decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.
