As revealed in the press conference held by the Municipal Reform and Development Commission on August 19, Yichun has continuously advanced the construction of photovoltaic power stations in recent years. These efforts have maximally given play to the poverty alleviation role of photovoltaic projects and provided a steady momentum to the launch of village-level public benefit programs and promotion of rural economic and socialdevelopment.

　　Since the launch of photovoltaic poverty alleviation in 2016, Yichun has built 1,852 photovoltaic power stations, gained an installed capacity of 39,000 KW and made an aggregate investment of 259 million yuan. These photovoltaic power stations have covered about 17,300 registered poverty-stricken households and benefited about 37,000 people. They have cumulatively generated 83.14 million KWH of electricity and about 38 million yuan of income from the date of grid connection to the endofJune.

　　It’s understood that to continuously and steadily bring the poverty alleviation role of photovoltaic projects into play, Yichun has actively developed the photovoltaic power station management system and operation mechanismfeaturing“standard management, efficient operation and maintenance, accurate distribution and proper regulation. Special efforts are made in improving the income distribution and utilization mechanism and procedure, enhance the internal driving force of poverty-stricken households and support the improvement of povertyalleviationresult.
